No! Your business is your expertise. Numbers are mine. Part of the on-boarding process is to get you a clean set of books either from the first day of business or the first day of the current year. This is part of the process and I am here to help you. 

You don't need to have a bookkeeping software already. If you do, I will take a look and see what we can do to avoid too many changes.

Sometimes it is easier to start with a clean slate, so don't worry if you don't have one yet! I will guide you as to the best fit for your needs and help get you set up.

My preferred softwares are Xero and QuickBooks Online depending on your business needs. 

Typically the fee for the software is included in your monthly price, but you can also choose to pay for the software directly on your own. 

I will need online access to banks, credit cards, your invoicing system, and any other platform in which your money is flowing through.

Typically, all of these allow a read-only accountant log in and I will help you figure out how to set one up so that your data is secure.

By providing me access, this allows me to work efficiently and avoid bothering you for data requests or more information that is available within these banks/platforms.

Once your books have been set up, I maintain them monthly. After the month ends, I will categorize your transactions and reconcile your bank accounts within the accounting software. I will send you one e-mail of questions/clarifications where needed. Once those questions are answered, you will receive a report packet that includes your balance sheet, profit and loss statement, as well as highlights from the month. I strive to have your books completed by the 15th of the month.

My base monthly fee starts at $400/month and varies based on the complexities of your business and needs. If you need your books caught up, there will be a one-time set up fee. You are billed on a monthly auto-pay subscription.
